So, I often come across handfuls of rocks that I have no idea their origin or composition. This one must have tagged along in one of those handfuls. It's a striking stone, and it tumbled well with known hard rocks, so I assumed it to be some kind of jasper... which apparently it is. My rock identification app insists, repeatedly, that it's called Vabanite. Funny thing is, I can find very little about "vabanite" on the googles...
